Colson Kelly, also known as Machine Gun Kelly is best known for the unique style of rap he employs. Baker was originally born in Houston, Texas U.S. on April 22nd 1990, to parents of English Scottish German descent. When he was a kid Baker spent a large period of his time on the road with his parents, who were missionaries. James Colson Baker suffered from depression and was unemployed while Sonia Alane abandoned them at the age of nine. Baker was moved to Denver with his father and lived there for a while. Baker was bullied by fellow kids because of his poverty. His first exposure to rap was when he entered sixth the sixth grade. Colson Kelly Baker was born 22 April, 1990 in Texas America. The songs he composed are known to blend modern hip-hop and rock with alternative rock. Baker released four mixtapes prior to joining Bad Boy Records between 2007-2010. Then in the latter half of 2011, this Cleveland rapper was a household name following his transition to self-releasing mixtapes to working for reputed record labels. The following years saw every album he released came in at #10 on the chart.
