Aisha Jamila Hinds is an American actor who is most well recognized for her appearances in TV series The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut she has demonstrated her range of talents by appearing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. The first time she was noticed was in 2005 due to her role as Anna which was featured as part of Assault on Precinct 13 It was, however, her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) in the biographical All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor. Hind was also acknowledged for her portrayal of Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period show, the drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television renewed 9-1-1 for a brand new season. Hind finished the filming of the Hollywood blockbuster Godzilla: King of the Monsters due to release by mid-2019. His father Krishnaraj is a senior Army scientist and died in March of 2017. Her mother Vrinda was a domestic worker. Aditya Rao works as a merchant navy engineer, is her older sibling. Bachchan's brother co-produced and co-wrote the script for Dil Ka Rishta with their mother. The actress was a student at Arya Vidya Mandir High School located in Mumbai where her family had moved to. Jai Hind College where she completed her entire academic year completed her secondary education before taking a place at D.G. Ruparel College in Matunga where she received a 90% score in the H.S.C. exams. She was a student of classical dancing for five of her years as an young adult. Her favorite subject was Zoology. Bachchan at the time, in the process of studying architecture, was named Miss World in the year 1994. This was an honor that brought her into the fast lane of modeling. In addition, she was offered the lucrative offer from L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. Bachchan had a popular acting career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 and Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan gained prominence as a star in the New Bollywood because both films transformed the Bollywood movie structure completely upside down. Bachchan was crowned the New Queen of Bollywood following her performance of the role in Devdas 2002, one the most well-known Bollywood films. It also was the first Bollywood film that was screened at Cannes Film Festival. Chokher bali (2003) was the following film in which she won the praise of her peers. It is a thriller that is based on Rabindranath tagore's novel. The following year, she was named the first Indian actress on the Cannes Film Festival Jury. Bachchan appeared as Bride and Prejudice, a musical and dancing adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. It was at this point that Bachchan added her star-power as well as beauty into her debut major English-language film. Bachchan returned to Bollywood to make the cult Dhoom: 2 (2006) prior to releasing Provoked: A True Story (2006) in English. She was married to Abhishek Bachchan, who is a co-star who is the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan. This marriage has brought two of India's most powerful individuals to one another.
